Citywide Equity Forum (CWEF) is set up to support communities to tackle inequalities.

In October 2022 ‘Creating a vibrant community by tackling inequalities’ an interactive equality forum meeting was held at Mount Shiloh Church. This was attended by residents, community organisations and other stakeholders.
​
Attendees at the meeting were invited to review the feedback from the meeting, become more involved and develop a Steering Group to start to plan a way forward; Citywide Equity Forum was started!

Who?
The Citywide Equity Forum (CWEF) consists of volunteers that are part of the steering group, developing and facilitating activities for residents and community organisations to address issues in the City.

What?
Since the forum initially began in 2022, the steering group have developed its key objectives, governance and conducted local research with residents and also hosted its first of many resident forums.
